World Dance Workout Instructors
Sandy Pierani is an enthusiastic and dedicated fitness instructor. She has been teaching group fitness for over 15 years. Her passion is in W. African dance and other dance moves from around the world. She created her own class with a unique style and flare that stems from years of studying dance moves and music from other cultures. She also has extensive education and training in other more conventional fitness classes such as step aerobics, hi/lo impact, strength training, cardio kick-boxing, turbo kick, zumba and much, much more.
Sandy is also an occupational therapist and former dance performer for such troops as Like Water Drum and Dance, Sunkwa and Tree of Life Drum and Dance Society.
Jaclyn Morrow has explored the art of movement for over 15 years. She’s performed with Blue Moves Modern Dance Company and the Sr. Dance Company of Middle Tennessee. She has also performed with Like Water Drum & Dance, Nomobugante, Nomadic Jewels Tribal Belly Dance, the Movement Artists Guild of A2, and is currently a member of the Tree of Life Drum and Dance Society.
4 years ago, Jaclyn started teaching Pure Barre. The workout has intensified her love for challenging and intense exercise, and taken her down a path of learning more about the mechanics of the body.
World Dance Workout is a great combination of passions for Jaclyn. She can share the absolute joy that is West African inspired movement, and help people find the satisfaction of toning and focusing on muscle groups.
Jaclyn is also a youth theatre teacher/director. But she greatly enjoys teaching adults (although teaching adults made her nervous at first!) and loves providing motivation for a life changing workout.
